Pierre Hermé Paris Macarons

Pierre Herme is known for his unusual and exotic macaron flavour combinations such as olive oil and vanilla, strawberry and wasabi, Venezuelan chocolate and apricot and pistachio.  Pierre Herme are typically intense and sometimes sharp – a world away from Laduree’s sweet, pastel-coloured treats..
PH macarons are airy cookies of egg-white and almond flour, sandwiching a cream filling. Perhaps his most famous is the Ispahan, made with rose, lychee, and raspberry..

His cooking philosophy: He prefers discreet pastry decors and "uses sugar like salt, in other words, as a seasoning to heighten other shades of flavor."

They do not come cheap, but boyyy they are worth it. This man is a total genius when it comes to macarons, and I truly believe he makes some of the best macarons available today. I’ve tried macarons from Ladureé as well, but I prefer Pierre Hermé.

Pierre: please come to Poland, you will make ridiculous amounts of money, from me and from the rest of the country :)
